Printable Nurikabe puzzles
Four packs of Nurikabe to print at home or in class – eight puzzles in each, solutions at the back. Every puzzle is proven to have exactly one solution.
How to use them
Print on A4 or Letter; the boards scale to the page. Shade the sea with a pencil and put a small dot in every cell you know is land – the dots save you from checking the same cell twice.
The rules
Split the grid into land and sea:
- Every number belongs to an island of exactly that many cells, and every island contains exactly one number.
- Islands never touch left, right, up or down. Corners are fine.
- All the sea is one connected body.
- The sea never fills a whole 2×2 block.
