Four packs of Spiral Galaxies – also known as Tentai Show – to print at home or in class, eight puzzles in each and the solutions at the back. Every puzzle is proven to have exactly one solution.
How to use them
Print on A4 or Letter; the boards scale to the page. Draw your walls along the light grid lines with a pencil – a galaxy is finished when its outline is closed and it looks the same turned upside down around its dot.
The rules
Divide the whole grid into galaxies along the grid lines:
- Every galaxy contains exactly one dot.
- Every galaxy is symmetric about its dot: turned half a circle around the dot, it lands exactly on itself.
- A dot can sit on a cell, on the line between two cells, or on the corner where four meet.
- Every cell belongs to exactly one galaxy.
